Canadian singer Shania Twain made a triumphant return to music back in 2012 with her Las Vegas Residency ‘Still the One’ after almost a decade away, and in 2015 the singer hit the road with her ‘Rock This Country’ tour which at the time was dubbed her “farewell” tour, but it now looks like she could be ready to perform live once again.
Shania, who is hard at work in the recording studio making her fifth studio album has gone on record numerous times to state that fans will be able to hear new music before her 51st birthday (August 28th) and with that milestone very near, it seems the country star is ready to tease her supporters.
The new record will be the ‘Nah!’ singer’s first release since her 2002 LP ‘Up’, and the new album will be produced by Electronic producer Matthew Koma.
Writing on Twitter, Twain teased: “1 year since the Rock This Country Tour kicked off in Seattle! Hope to see you all again soon… #RTCTour” (sic).
So does this mean we can expect a new tour from Shania Twain when her new music comes out later this year? We certainly hope so, as it’s only recently we have all been able to enjoy having her back in the music industry and she is a true icon who always puts on a fantastic live show.
