After Shania Twain’s explosive return to music in 2012 after more than a decade away, with her sell-out Las Vegas show ‘Still The One’, it was rumoured that the ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman!’ hitmaker would retire, but now the most successful country singer of all time has confirmed that she is back in the studio.
Over the years the hit singer has faced problems with her vocal chords, forcing her to take a break in 2004, but thankfully it looks like her voice problems are behind her.
Shania sounded better than ever on her last tour and was in great shape, so the news that she is set to release new music sooner rather than later is excellent news for fans of the pretty 50-year-old.
The ‘It Only Hurts When I’m Breathing’ singer confirmed her welcome return to the music world with two tweets.
The first tweet Twain sent out said: “Fun times in the studio… #makingmusic #studio” (sic), this was followed with another message saying: “Monday songwriting #music” (sic).
Over the years, Shania Twain has built up a massive fan-base and has sold over 85 million records worldwide, making her one of the most successful artists of all time.
A new single and or album from Twain is expected to be released before August this year.
