After months of teasing her millions of fans with Instagram, and Twitter posts about her new music, country music legend Shania Twain has finally confirmed that her fifth studio album will be released “really soon”.
The singer who is famous for worldwide hits including ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman’, and ‘From This Moment On’, talked about the diversity of her new record at this years CMT Artists of the Year Award ceremony held in Nashville, Tennessee, on Wednesday 19th October.
Shania Twain was attending the glamorous music award ceremony as a special guest after being honoured with the prestigious ‘CMT Artist of a Lifetime’ award, to celebrate her legacy in country music.
Speaking on the red carpet prior to picking up her special award, the Canadian superstar confirmed that her new music is coming “really soon” , and also opened up about the sound of the new record;
“This album is more diverse than any other album than any album I’ve ever done. Not that I’ve done a ton of albums, but it’s the most diverse of the albums I’ve had. There’s a lot of variety there. But what I’ve learned about myself is as the songwriter of the songs, the emotion and the voice, ties it all together as one artist. It’s been a lot of hard work but the most fun hard work I think I’ve ever done so far.”
The new release will be Twain’s fifth studio album, following her 1993 self-titled debut, the 1995 record breaking ‘The Woman in Me’, 1997’s huge crossover hit ‘Come on Over’ and 2002’s upbeat country/pop LP ‘Up’!
