Friday (August 18th) saw Canadian country music sensation Shania Twain release her brilliant new single ‘Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed’. The hitmaker who turns 52 on August 28th, gave a sensational performance of the hit track on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, August 17th, the same day she announced the US leg of her world tour.
During her live rendition of ‘Swingin’ With My Eyes Closed’, Twain belted out the catchy track highlighting the fact her vocals are stronger than ever after losing her voice for a number of years through Lyme’s Disease, and the gorgeous blonde looked half her age in a stunning sequined play-suit.

The new single is the third to be taken off Shania’s first studio album in fifteen years; ‘Now‘ which will be released worldwide on September 29th. It follows the pop infused ‘Life’s About To Get Good‘, and the electro-pop ballad ‘Poor Me‘.
So far all the new songs off ‘Now’ have been well received by both fans and critics, but with ‘Swingin’ we see Twain return to her country-pop roots, and it is without doubt her best release in over a decade.
It’s catchy, sassy, with a rock edge, and a reggae infusion, and it shares the same vibe as some of her biggest hits. And fans will be treated to an official music video for the classic Shania track very soon.
