The countdown for new music from the queen of country music Shania Twain is officially on. Fans of the Canadian superstar are eagerly awaiting news of the new single from Twain which is due for release any day now, and her first album in fifteen extremely long years is set for release this May.
The excitement is growing for the crossover hitmaker to make a formal announcement about her new materiel but even though she confirmed last month to Rolling Stone Magazine that her first single since the 2011 comeback song ‘Today Is Your Day‘ was set to be released this March she has remained tight lipped about her first single release in six years. Although she did post a teasing tweet last week;
Expect some change and something different from my new material ?@Billboard https://t.co/dv7dZCLHkX

And ever since the 51-year-old posted that message, social media has been awash with rumours that she will make her explosive comeback this Sunday (April, 2nd) at the ACM Awards in Las Vegas. She is rumoured to be a surprise performer at the event and is set to premiere her massively anticipated new single. And if that exciting news wasn’t enough the title of upcoming album has also apparently been revealed by Review Journal.
According the website Shania Twain’s first album since the 2002 hit ‘Up!‘, will be called ‘Triumphant’. A name that fits in very well with the concept of the new LP, considering it’s the singer’s first new materiel since she had surgery on her vocal chords due to Dysphonia.
Four album tracks have also been revealed: ‘Who’s Gonna Be Your Girl?’, ‘We Got Something They Don’t’, ‘Swinging With My Eyes Closed’, and ‘Hard to Love’. It is unknown whether one of these songs will be the first to be officially released off the new record.
