On Friday, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello broke the internet with their sizzling new collaboration ‘Señorita’ and in the process they’ve also broken a new Spotify record.
The track rocketed to number one on Spotify’s Global chart upon its release and went on to record the biggest single-day debut of a male/female duet ever.
Amongst the track’s other achievements, the steamy music video racked up 50 million YouTube streams in its first 48 hours, and it also reached number one on Spotify’s US Chart, iTunes, Apple Music Pop and Apple Music’s Top Videos.
The pair have also unveiled part one of the behind the scenes making of their visual. The clip includes Shawn and Camila practising choreography before Shawn accidentally drops her…ouch. Keep your eyes peeled for part two!
‘Señorita’ is the second collaboration from Shawn and Camila, following on from their 2015 smash hit ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’. The track is the ultimate glo-up from the pair and tbh we’re just sat here waiting for a full album of collabs from them because we know it would be absolutely unreal.
As ‘Señorita’ continues to impact on charts across the world, we have no doubt it will be another hit for Shawn and Camila!
