Last month Canadian superstar Shawn Mendes returned to the charts with his brand new studio album ‘Shawn Mendes: The Album‘. The LP is the 19-year-old’s third release and follows the 2015 breakout debut ‘Handwritten‘ and the 2016 smash-hit ‘Illuminate‘.
All three records have been huge successes across the world, and his latest offering includes the massive hit singles ‘In My Blood’, ‘Lost In Japan’ and ‘Youth’.
The new album has been a smash hit across the globe and Shawn Mendes continues on his journey to becoming a global icon. The new LP has debuted at No.1 on iTunes in 50 countries and has opened at No.1 in Argentina, Flanders and The Netherlands, No.2 in Ireland, Italy and Norway, No.3 in Germany and The UK, No.4 in Wallonia, No.5 in Sweden, No.6 in Finland and No.46 in South Korea. And most recently topped the Billboard 200 with 182,000 units (142,000 in pure sales), making it his third album to debut at number 1 on the chart.

While tracks off the record such as ‘Nervous’ and ‘Like To Be You’ featuring Julia Michaels are pushing for a top 40 position on The Official UK Singles Chart.
2018 is going to be an absolutely massive year for the teenage sensation as he continues his world domination and showcases his all round musical talents as he continues to prove that he is a true musical icon in the making.
