Shawn Mendes has released the eagerly anticipated music video for his most recent single, titled ‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back.’
A short four-second clip of the video was released to his 10 million Twitter followers, with the full video being released a few hours later.

The video features Ellie Bamber as the female actress, Shawn’s love interest throughout the video. In addition to being an incredible video, it showcases some footage from his ‘Illuminate World Tour.’ The video’s concept is relatively basic and simple, with Shawn and Ellie travelling around the world – in cities such as Paris and Amsterdam – together.
‘There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back’ is a track taken from Shawn Mendes’ second album, titled ‘Illuminate.’ Fans have been waiting since April for the release of the music video – and the wait has definitely been worth it!
Shawn’s legion of fans were quick to express their love for the video via Twitter, with fans describing the video as ‘beautiful and pure.’
