SHIM (Shimon Moore) is a rock/alternative artist who believes that music should sound exciting at all times. “If it excites you, you won’t shut it off. I wanted to make a record that didn’t let up. This is my sound. It’s real. It’s empowering. It’s who I am. There’s a lot of blood on it,” he says.

Basically, music is everything to SHIM. When he writes, blood courses through every song he’s ever written and recorded, and that’s what millions of fans connect to when they’re listening to his music. While he was the front-man and co-founder of the Australian band Sick Puppies, he had four full-length albums from the RIAA platinum-certified.

Now, SHIM is releasing solo music and going on tour!

SHIM’s newest single, “Crucified,” is a perfect example of just as talented he is on own. As soon as the song began, we were hooked by the sound and creepy vibe of the video, because honestly, we’re a sucker for some horror!

With lyrics like, “They got coffins for sale on the edge of LA / They come in satin drenched, spirit broken double wide / Half for your body, half for your mind,” the videos awesome dark theme to match is thanks to the video director, Robyn August, who specializes in unique horror stories!

Watching the video you’ll see two versions of SHIM, and they’re both having a problem. There’s a body in a sack that they need to dispose of, but as they go to the graveyard and begin digging… one of them has a lethal surprise for the other…
