London-based singer/songwriter Sienna Spiro continues to showcase her knack for transforming heartache into songs that captivate the soul this week, with the release of her breathtaking new single, ‘Die On This Hill’.
Brought to life in collaboration with co-writers and producers Omer Fedi (SZA, Lil Nas X), Michael Pollack (Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga), and Blake Slatkin (Sam Smith, Tate McRae), the deeply passionate track finds Sienna in a place of emotional duress, as she begins to grapple with the realities of a romance gone wrong. In a stunning display of her extraordinary vocal prowess, the ‘NEED ME’ singer balances the song’s unbridled intensity with an exquisite command of her instrument, channeling both aching desperation and fierce determination with equal intensity.
Serving as the follow up to previous single release ‘You Stole The Show’, the powerful ballad arrives as Sienna continues her six-date run opening for Sam Smith during their hotly tipped residency To Be Free: New York City at Warsaw in Brooklyn.
Commenting on the torched love song, Spiro says: “‘Die On This Hill’ is about stubborn love — the kind that makes you stay when you know you should leave.”
