Spanish singer Andreas returns to the music scene with an explosive electro-pop power ballad. Besides being entered into the Eurovision pool to hopefully represent Spain at next years big contest, there’s definitely a good chance for that to happen.
Last year, Spain’s entry ‘Say Yay!’ filled the stadium with bright lights but landed in 22nd place. Nonetheless the country has won twice, two consecutive years back in 1968 and 1969 with entries ‘La La La’, and ‘Vivo Cantando’.
Andreas first caught our eyes with ‘Next To You’ which we earlier described as a song filled with powerful vocals and unrestrained emotion. Click here to read our review!
While there’s still plenty of time and decision making in the Eurovision process, we wish Andreas the best of luck with his entry.
It’s an emotionally invested piece – one that would greatly fit within the Eurovision and mainstream spectrum.
