Fresh from supporting The Who in Quebec on Thursday night and playing to their largest crowd yet (an impressive 80,000), The Struts are back with their epic new single “One Night Only”. The single is the first the band have released since “Put Your Hands Up” in 2016. It is also the first from their upcoming second album.
The Struts started their music career back in 2009, with the current line-up being in place since 2012. The band have worked extremely hard over the years to grow their fan base and get their music out there. They have toured relentlessly, both in the UK and America (since signing to Interscope Records) and this hard work has certainly paid off. Their debut album Everybody Wants received rave reviews after its release. It featured some of the bands most loved singles including “Could Have Been Me” and “Kiss This”.
The Struts cite bands including Queen, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin as influences and this certainly shows in their music. Their latest single “One Night Only” is a fantastic piece of rock music with a massive singalong chorus, guitar solo, and incredible vocals from frontman Luke Spiller. The Struts never disappoint with their music and this is no different. “One Night Only” is giving us major Queen vibes and we cannot get enough of it.

They may have taken inspiration from some of the legendary rock bands to have graced the stages. However, The Struts have managed to reinvent rock muisc. By putting their own spin on the genre The Struts may just have the power to bring rock music back to the forefront of the industry.
