Sister C said, of the EP: “We are so excited to be releasing Demo Sessions, Vol. 2! We have been writing like crazy and this EP is a combination of all of our favourites. Each of us has experienced love lost so of course we wrote about it and so much more. We hope that people can relate to our music the way that it touches us. We can’t wait to hear what people think!”
The Manchaca sisters, who consist of Cirby, Carli and Celbi, first came to prominence on the second season of The X Factor (US). They were eliminated during the first live show, where they lost the sing-off against Fifth Harmony, who were called 1432 at the time. Since then, they went on to release a sneak peak EP, followed by a couple of singles and then their Demo Sessions, Vol. 1.
They have been teasing what tracks will be on the new EP on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, asking fans to guess the tracks from the pictures they post. So far they have announced “Chainsmoker” and “Cinderella”.
