Singer and songwriter Siva Kaneswaran has announced that his debut single ‘Breathe In’ will be released this Friday (September 6).

The Irish artist took to Twitter to announce the exciting news, stating: “This is an introduction to my Art and Soul, The process of how I practice mindfulness and what inspires me the most!

“It’s taken 3 years to make this and I am so excited to share this and lots more with you guys! So stay tuned!”

My new single “Breathe In” comes out it ONE week!

Since announcing the news, Siva has shared a little lyric teaser from ‘Breathe In’ and it’s safe to say that we are busy counting down the days until Friday!

Siva is of course best known for being one fifth of boyband The Wanted, who gave us smash hits including ‘Glad You Came’, ‘All Time Low’, and ‘I Found You’. The band went on hiatus in 2014, with each member going on to pursue individual endeavours.

Whilst Siva has perhaps been considered one of the quieter members since then, he has in fact been extremely busy behind the scenes. In addition to working on his own music and songwriting, Siva has also been modelling and acting. Back in July, he starred in a movie called Where We Go From Here, which received its premiere at Outfest, LA.

Earlier this year, he also took part in 5Star’s Celebs on the Ranch, where he joined fellow celebrities in the wilds of Arizona to test their mettle and learn how to be cowboys. He finished the show as a runner up.

Now, Siva is gearing up for what is quite possibly his most exciting project to date. We’ve certainly missed his distinct Irish tones and can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us with ‘Breathe In’.
