Rising music sensation SOLIS4EVR continues to create buzz with the release of her latest single ‘sorry 4 calling’ – an addictive, ethereal pop bop featuring American singer/songwriter Dreamer Isioma.
Lyrically inspired by the brutal breakdown of a previous relationship, the super relatable track sees the ‘Abeg’ singer make the all-too-human mistake of drunk calling her ex to find closure.
Filled with pensive musings and irrepressible beats, a refreshingly honest SOLIS4EVR says of the song: “This is a record I wrote as a way to give myself closure for a relationship that ended brutally. It was me realising I don’t need to wait around to have someone tell me some ‘thing’ before I become okay.”
“It was me realising I hold all the power in the world to bring myself peace, to be okay again. It was me giving myself a hug. It’s also a reflection of who I am as an artist and the stories I want to tell. I’m my most vulnerable in the music; it’s the one place I possess no shame, where I can tell my honest truths and life experiences (no matter how embarrassing).”
