Fresh from releasing his debut single ‘Princess’ last month, singer-songwriter Sonny has unveiled a second track from his forthcoming EP Hopeless Romance.
‘Since We’ve Begun’ is another slice of soul from the 17-year-old, which once again reaffirms his raw talent and maturity which is wise beyond his young years. Co-written and produced by Rum and Bug, the poignant ballad was inspired by his real life experiences, and fuses together elements of RnB, soul and indie.
Speaking about the track, Sonny said: “‘Since We’ve Begun’ is one of my favourite tracks on my EP and was written very quickly which is always a good sign! The song is about the early stages of love – that feeling you get when you are thinking of someone all the time.”
