Vocal powerhouse and femme fatale Stela Cole returns with another perfect bop. Called “Midnight Killer”, the dark pop track oozes with seduction, confidence and transformation. The song follows her single “Die Hard” released earlier this year.
“Midnight Killer” is a single that chronicles Stela’s own life and journey towards healing, self-love and discovery. The artist confides, “It’s about the revival of empowerment and re-discovery after losing myself. It’s about becoming stronger through the pain, and learning how to protect my heart and energy moving forward. It’s the Phoenix rising from the ashes. No more sacrificing my character. No more losing myself.” This newfound confidence is evident in the knockout pop track filled with Stela’s gorgeous deep vocal tones and heightened melodies. Emotional synths, dark beats and thrilling bass all coincide for this intriguing and alluring pop offering.
The song is released alongside a cinematic music video following the story of her last single “Die Hard”. Award-winning directors Eliot Lee and Maya Sassoon join forces with Stela and co-star Noah Gonzalez to tell the story of a woman who was shot down emotionally by her ex and now is rising above the fray. Stela is seen in a bar singing her heart out and showing her ex that he no longer has a hold on her.
