Stereophonics have announced a major UK arena tour for December 2025, rounding off what has already been a landmark year for the Welsh rock stalwarts. The newly confirmed dates will see the group return to indoor arenas, with shows scheduled in Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, and London’s O2 Arena. Tickets go on general sale this Friday, 11 July.
The tour announcement comes on the heels of a hugely successful summer run, during which the band played to more than 500,000 fans across the UK and Europe. Their Finsbury Park headline last week drew a massive crowd, delivering a set packed with widescreen visuals, sweeping arrangements, cinematic staging and tracks spanning their entire catalogue. The band are now gearing up for two massive homecoming concerts at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on 11 and 12 July.

Stereophonics’ momentum shows no signs of slowing. Their latest release, Make ‘Em Laugh, Make ‘Em Cry, Make ‘Em Wait—the band’s thirteenth studio album—debuted at Number 1 on the UK Albums Chart, and earned them a ninth chart-topping record. But more than a commercial win, the album reflects a band still willing to challenge expectations and evolve, by blending emotional nuance with the grit and scale that first won them acclaim. With its raw rock textures, introspective lyrics, and sweeping choruses, the album strikes a rare balance between growth and identity—an increasingly rare feat for bands of their era.
As the December arena tour approaches, Stereophonics return to familiar ground with renewed intent. This latest run is less about nostalgia and more about reaffirming relevance. The scale remains ambitious, but the message is clear: they’re not coasting on legacy spanning over three decades and a catalogue that bridges generations. Frontman Kelly Jones continues to lead with sharp songwriting and a clear creative vision, while the band’s live performances offer a confident mix of reflection and reinvention.
