Jay McGuiness!
The Wanted star and his professional dancer, Aliona Vilani were in the final with both Kellie Bright from Eastenders and Georgia May Foote from Coronation Street.
All of the couples danced extremely well, so much so, that it was a tight call. But for others, Jay had it in the bag all along! His extraordinary Jive earlier on in the series and his Pasodoble , which he chose to perform again last night, were just a few of many dances which lead him to that glitter ball trophy.
With the support behind him from his band mates and The Wanted’s fanbase, along with his incredible dancing talent, it was inevitable Jay would go far in this competition.
Both Jay and Aliona were in complete shock when it was announced they’d won and in the words of Jay himself, they felt completely ‘spaced out’.
What a fab-u-lous (as Craig would say) way to end a fantastic series of Strictly Come Dancing!
