Texas-based duo Surfaces have today (June 29th) announced details of their upcoming album ‘Hidden Youth’, along with the unveiling of their latest single ‘Rooftops’.

Scheduled to drop Friday, August 26th 2022 the record promises to be the duos “biggest and boldest project yet”, and features the singles ‘What’s Been On Your Mind?‘ along with the super infectious ‘I Can’t Help But Feel’, which to date has amassed over 22 million streams.

As a band famous for captivating audiences around the world, the group (made up of Forrest Frank and Colin Padalecki) kick off their Summer Forever Tour alongside American pop rock band LANY next week. Produced by Live Nation, the 34-city North America jaunt kicks off August 3rd at The Chrysalis at Merriweather Park in Columbia before making stops in Toronto, Detroit, Houston, San Diego and more, before wrapping up in Seattle at Lumen Field – Muckleshoot Plaza on September 24th. Tickets are on-sale now.

Keen to capitalise on the success of the last 12 months, Surfaces continue to make their mark in 2022 with the roll out of more new music following the release of their universally loved album ‘Pacifico’.

Featuring the single ‘Wave of You’, as well as collaborations with Tai Verdes and Salem Ilese, the record amassed over 2.9 billion streams globally and garnered praise from the likes of Variety, Consequence, Ones to Watch and 1883.

Of the record, the duo now say: “We just wanted to make an album that harnessed the feeling of where we recorded it. We decided to get back to our roots and record with home audio equipment in a living room surrounded by nothing but open windows to capture the energy of each day in Malibu. For almost a month we woke up to this special scenic outlook and just made what that feeling gave us, hoping that our fans would be able to hear what we were seeing.”
