Twilight actor Taylor Lautner was in London today, to attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most selfies taken in three minutes.
The record – currently held by The Rock – stands at a whopping 105 selfies! Fans gathered at BBC’s Broadcasting House in order to meet Taylor and to try and help him break the world record. The record attempt was held to celebrate BBC Three’s move online. It also celebrated the launch of the third series of Cuckoo, which stars Taylor, Greg Davies and Tyger Drew-Honey.
Before starting his record attempt, Taylor told the crowd, “This is a total team effort, I need all of you … I think we can do it. But we’re going to have to be focussed, we’re going to have to move fast, and I’m going to have to keep the pictures from being blurry.”
Despite a valiant effort from Taylor, he just missed out on the world record, taking 101 selfies!
Despite not breaking the world record, at least Taylor made everyone’s day by meeting them and grabbing a selfie!
