Taylor Swift performed in Manchester Friday night for her Reputation world tour at the Etihad Stadium, with a second gig on Saturday night.
During Friday’s performance, Swift made time to pay tribute to Manchester for the way the city came together during the attack that happened at an Ariana Grande concert in May 2017.
Taylor told the crowd, “You have shown such strength. You’ve shown that you will never let anyone forget about those victims. And you’ve shown that you have such incredible resilience to keep dancing, and to keep the innocent and to keep the joy and to keep the excitement. And I have to say Manchester, it is such an honor to play for your guys.”
