Grace VanderWaal is a twelve-year-old singer who won the eleventh season of America’s Got Talent. She has caught the attention of many celebrities, such as Katy Perry, Reese Witherspoon, and even Taylor Swift!
Taylor Swift was so impressed by Grace that she sent her a bouquet of flowers congratulating her on her big win. Grace then tweeted Taylor thanking her for the surprise. She writes, “Words can not explain how honored I am for this.”

Although she is only twelve years old, Grace has already written original songs and taught herself how to play the ukulele. Her audition for America’s Got Talent went viral with over 100 million views on Facebook.
When she auditioned, Simon Cowell compared Grace to Taylor Swift because Taylor began writing her own songs at an early age as well. Since then, the comparisons have only grown stronger as Grace continued to perform original songs in the competition.
Besides taking the winning title, Grace will also receive one million dollars and her own headlining show in Las Vegas!
