December 11th saw The 27 and Mud II take to the stage at the renowned Royal Albert Hall for Christmas Carols with Bloodwise. Fronted by Henry Parker, The 27 have spent the last few years honing their craft and producing new material and they are now ready to show the world who they really are.
Their sound, by turns gentle and dynamic, is full of sumptuous harmonies and expert guitar riffs, and their performance showcased their meticulous attention to detail as performers. They had a magnetic stage presence and their vocals were on point throughout. They had great vocal control and worked together to communicate dynamic changes seamlessly. Their musical talent was evident and shown through their impressive guitar playing.
The 27’s bold and unique sound has already garnered an impressive host of celebrity fans including Pop Superstar Beyoncé who heard the boys when they were recording in LA. Henry has also been taken under the wing of British Producer Mike Hurst and has befriended country music star Margo Price.
This Royal Albert Hall performance highlighted the talent and true potential of these three musicians, and with new music arriving in 2019 (as well as the suggestion of more live dates in the not too distant future) 2019 looks to be a busy year for this talented trio.
