Country Music is the most versatile genre and artists across the board regularly release or perform live covers of some of the most popular and world famous songs from artists old and new.

SARAH DARLING – LANDSLIDE
US sensation and adopted Brit Sarah Darling has the voice of an angel and when she performed Fleetwood Mac’s worldwide smash ‘Landslide’ during one of her many appearances at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville several years ago it was a real wow moment. This is such a hard song to do justice but Darling did so with ease.
WARD THOMAS – WALLS
In 2017, record making UK Country duo Ward Thomas decided to release a covers EP titled ‘A Shorter Story’. The result was a breathtaking collection of hits performed with a stunning Country twist. One of the major standouts on the CD was a powerful rendition of the Kings of Leon smash ‘Walls’. The fact that Ward Thomas covered this with so much emotion and let their soft vocals lead the rock track into new territory made it feel like an original from a band whose harmonies are the best you’re likely to hear.
ANDY BROWN – YOU LOOK GOOD
Last year pop/rock boybander turned Country soloist Andy Brown decided to release a stunning covers EP; ‘Country Sessions’. The first volume included a gorgeous version of Lady Antebellum’s global hit ‘You Look Good’. And while the track is already a Country song, Brown made it even more so by stripping it right back and allowed his soaring vocals to take it to new levels ensuring it felt fresh and exciting.
THE SHIRES – ISLANDS IN THE STREAM
Arguably the most famous Country song of all time; ‘Islands In The Stream’. This Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton collab from the 80s has become a staple of any live The Shires show and the record breaking British duo always do it justice. Their harmonies blend together beautifully and they truly make it their own in any setting.
DANIELLE BRADBERY – GOD IS A WOMAN
Last year Country starlet Danielle Bradbery celebrated some of the biggest 2018 hits by releasing her gorgeous covers EP ‘Yours Truly: 2018’. The result was a fabulous collection of new and exciting versions of some of the biggest pop hits of the year. The major standout was Bradbery’s mind-blowing cover of Ariana Grande’s chart smash ‘God Is A Woman’. To hear Danielle’s vocals in this setting showcased how much this artist has to offer the world.
