2019 is shaping up to be an absolutely massive year for Country Music, with new albums from the likes of Shania Twain, Ward Thomas and many more huge names.
Here we bring you the five albums we cannot wait to drop next year. The list is compiled via the methods of which LP we can expect to be released first.
1: Ward Thomas – Restless Minds
Britain’s most exciting Country crossover band Ward Thomas will release their long awaited third studio album ‘Restless Minds’ on February 1st. The LP will focus on issues such as mental health, women’s rights and social media. It will include the hit singles including ‘Never Know’ and ‘No Fooling Me’. Along with dropping the new LP, Ward Thomas will also be delighting fans by touring the record across the UK in February, March and April. Tickets are on sale now!
2: Sarah Darling – Wonderland
US sensation and adopted Brit Sarah Darling will be releasing her eagerly anticipated new album ‘Wonderland‘ on March 1st. This record cements Darling’s place in the nations hearts as she has written and recorded the whole LP right here in the UK. The record has been dubbed “Nashville meets London” by Sarah. It’s set to be a truly magical record that will take you on a divine journey. Along with hearing the album, British fans can expect to see Sarah Darling touring in March.
3: Andy Brown – Cedarmont
Andy Brown’s is the latest in a long line of homegrown Country artists making a name for themselves in the fastest growing genre. Brown effortlessly blends rock sounds into is country output and his debut solo album ‘Cedarmont’ is slated for release next year after being pushed back this year. The record was meant to drop in the Summer of this year but Universal decided to put the CD on hold and instead focused on single releases. The LP will include huge hits such as ‘Landslide’ and ‘Keeper’.
4: Carly Pearce – ?
US sensation Carly Pearce was the biggest breakout Country Music star of 2017. She broke records with her massive debut album ‘Every Little Thing‘ and quickly gained a whole host of loyal fans around the world. 2018 has been huge for Pearce as she has toured across America and most recently released her stunning new single ‘Closer To You’. This 90s throwback hit is the first introduction to the new LP which is set to drop in mid 2019. Carly will also be making her UK debut in March at the C2C (Country to Country) Festival.
5: Shania Twain – ?
After bursting back onto the scene in 2017 with her first studio album in fifteen years, Twain rocketed straight to number 1 with ‘Now‘ across the world and has spent 2018 touring the globe including a sensational run of UK dates which saw her playing live here for the first time in over a decade. And 2019 is set to be super exciting for Country Music fans as the Canadian legend has confirmed she is working on a Christmas album that will feature all new original music. This is slated for release next Christmas and will no doubt become a major fan favourite.
