The Adelaides Release Debut Single ‘Leave’

Fast rising UK Country Music trio The Adelaides are on the verge of a truly remarkable 2019. Not only will the Midlands act be performing at the CMA Festival in Nashville, making them the first unsigned British act to do so, they will also be joining Nashville TV star Charles “Chip” Esten during his headline tour of the UK later this year.

And today (May 10th), the band consisting of Paris Georgia, Alicia Alba and Abi Phillips have shared their infectious debut single ‘Leave’. The track has been released via Demon Music Group / Duroc Media and was penned by renowned Grammy-winning songwriter Marcus Hummon, who has worked with the likes of Rascal Flatts, Dixie Chicks, Tim McGraw and Wynonna Judd.

The Adelaides originally met both Marcus and his son Levi when they played their very first live gig at the Borderline in October 2017. They were both blown away by the girls’ immense talent and Marcus immediately told them that he had a great song for them which would show off their harmonies: ‘Leave’.

Hummon was not wrong, ‘Leave’ is the perfect first release for a band quickly becoming homegrown treasures and fans will no doubt be delighted to finally have original music from the group who are building up a strong and loyal fanbase year-on-year.

Leave‘ is available to stream and download right now:
