If celebrities have one thing in common, it’s that they take a great selfie. When they’re not on the road or they’ve got a spare five minutes, they love updating their Instagram accounts with a new snap to show their fans what they’ve been up to. January – Kim Kardashian

It would feel strange to compile a list of the best celebrity selfies without giving Kim Kardashian a nod, so we’ll start with her. Kim K took to Twitter in the New Year to show us she was still number one – and used her body to #BreaktheInternet once again. The Instagram post has, so far, attracted more than 4 million likes from loyal fans, so she’s got to be doing something right.

Right before dropping her hot collaboration Dinero with DJ Khaled and Cardi B, J Lo took to Instagram to share this stunning snap in the back of a car – presumably after an important celebrity event that we weren’t invited to. The star, now 48, looked beautiful with her curled locks and mint green outfit, and the post brought in more than a million likes. She’s still got it!
March – Rita Ora

Never one to disappoint with a stunning celebrity selfie, Rita Ora posted this cheeky snap that’s as whacky and colourful as she is. The star probably didn’t take this picture herself, though, instead getting her photographer to use a portrait photography camera, but we thought it was worth including nonetheless. “My mood,” Rita says in the caption. What mood, exactly!?
April – Ariana Grande

Ahead of the release of her stunning comeback single No Tears Left to Cry, Ariana Grande used social media to tease fans about her new music, and this picture, in particular, is a favourite of ours. The Problem singer looks stunning in an oversized denim jacket and long grey t-shirt, and we’re digging her studio vibes attitude. “We on another mentality,” Ariana writes in the caption, preparing fans for the juggernaut that her fourth studio album is about to come. We’re ready for Sweetener and hope that, in the build-up to the release, she shares more great selfies with us.
May – Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga has had quite a year, pulling out of her Joanne World Tour due to fibromyalgia, performing her new single Joanne at the GRAMMY Awards, covering Elton John’s legendary Your Song and preparing for the promotion of her new movie, A Star is Born. But she still managed to find the time to take a striking selfie on her private jet and she headed back to New York, wearing oversized shades and a Cruella de Vil-styled jacket. They don’t call her Mother Monster for nothing, you know!
June – Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift has had a busy month so far, performing at Capital’s Summertime Ball 2018 and bringing her Reputation Stadium Tour to the UK. So the singer was well within her rights to take a quick cat nap with her furry friend and post this adorable selfie for all to see. It’s always great to see some of our favourite celebrities stripped back, free of makeup and relaxing like the rest of us.
