This September Blackpool will welcome the very first The British Country Music Festival (TBCMF) to its city centre. The event which celebrates the very best in UK country music will take place at the Winter Gardens venue between September 13th and 15th and will see a whole host of homegrown talent such as Ward Thomas, Catherine McGrath, Megan O’Neill, The Adelaides, Gary Quinn, Jake Morrell, and many, many more taking to the stages across the weekend.
And it’s not just British acts fans can expect to see either as American sensation Sarah Darling will be headlining the opening day. The sweet Iowan has officially been adopted by Britain this past year and she has cemented herself as one of our own by becoming the only US singer/songwriter on the bill.

Hampshire natives Ward Thomas who in 2016 became the very first and only British country act to top the Official UK Top 40 Album chart with their sophomore release ‘Cartwheels’ will be bringing their infectious blend of country/pop crossover sounds to the main stage on Saturday when they headline TBCMF.
Irish singer/songwriter Catherine McGrath will showcase her vocal prowess and impressive Taylor Swift Esque songwriting talents when she headlines the third and final day on Sunday. The weekend promises to be a wonderful celebration of the fastest-growing genre in the UK.
