Lady Gaga released her iconic first album, The Fame, 10 years ago on August 19th, 2008.
The Fame brought us many hits including Just Dance, Poker Face, LoveGame, and Paparazzi.
Both Just Dance and Poker Face found their way to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. LoveGame was #5 and Paparazzi was #6 in 2009.
Lady Gaga has come a long way since then. She released 4 other albums including her most recent album released in 2016 called Joanne. Lady Gaga also decided to try something different when she worked on a jazzy pop album with Tony Bennett. She has also won 6 Grammys and was nominated for 19. The Fame won Best Electronic/Dance Album and Poker Face won Best Dance Recording in 2009. In 2011, The Fame Monster won Best Pop Vocal Album along with Bad Romance winning two other Grammys. Lady Gaga won another Grammy in 2014 for the album she did with Tony Bennett.

She won a Golden Globe for her role on the hit TV show, American Horror Story: Hotel. Lady Gaga also has plenty of other awards for her music and music videos. This year, she will begin her first Las Vegas Residency at the Park Theater that will continue into November of 2019.
Her most viewed music video, Bad Romance, has over 952 million views with Poker Face coming in second with 532 million.
Lady Gaga will return to acting in the new movie, A Star Is Born, that also features Bradley Cooper. The movie arrives in theaters October 5th. The movie is about Bradley Cooper’s character falling in love with Lady Gaga’s character, whose dream is to become a famous singer. Cooper wants to help Gaga with her dream.
