Jamie Skinner is a 20 year old singer-songwriter from London who’s had a passion for music all his life; “I started playing guitar aged seven, at 11 I began learning rock and pop songs and things have gone from strength to strength since then really.”
In 2015, things really started to take off. Jamie said: “I was asked to support a big band from the US called ‘Hey Violet’ at their headline show in London which sparked off a summer full of gigs, writing and recording sessions. I’ve released a double single that received a great reaction, and was named by Sugarscape Magazine as having one of the best covers on the net.” He covered 5 Seconds of Summer’s hit song ‘Hey Everybody’ which attracted lots of attention to his YouTube channel.
Since releasing his double single in July, Jamie has formed a band, and has a show at The Garage, London on the 17th February. This will mark the first performance of a new explosive pop-rock group. Support comes from Bronnie Hughes. It’s definitely a show you don’t want to miss. You can get tickets here!
You can listen to Jamie’s hit songs, ‘Santa Monica’ and ‘She left me’ on Spotify and iTunes now.
