The Tide, a U.S four piece, signed to The Vamps’ new record label Steady Records have released their latest cover of ‘Close’ by Nick Jonas featuring Tove Lo.
Considering these boys are extremely busy with recording their debut album, they still manage to make time for covers. This is extremely thoughtful, and something the fans are surely grateful for!
During the cover, we are treated to the same vibe as Nick Jonas’ incredible original version. However, there appears to be an original twist on the song, which flares with acoustic vibes.
During the video, there are many different angles of the lads, including group shots and close ups which are indeed very professional!
At the beginning of the video we see a small practice session on guitars taking place between Drew Dirksen and Levi Jones. During this time Drew mentions free styling!
Alongside this taking place, Nate Parker and Austin Corini also put forward their input before the cover officially starts.
As the cover kicks off we receive very great vocals from front man Austin Corini. Levi Jones also hits some very high notes which do not disappoint!
These lads do indeed harmonize incredibly well – they are always such a treat to listen to!
This cover is proving to be popular with fans already as the hashtag #TideNewCover is trending on Twitter. This indicates love from the fans that they constantly receive!
From covering The 1975, to Justin Bieber, The Tide never fail to disappoint their loving fans!
