This year’s series of ‘The Voice UK’ has been very different to previous series.
But the thing that stays the same every year is that amazing acts leave the show.
This series of ‘The Voice UK’, is not just different because Olly Murs is a coach this year. It is also different because of the acts bringing originality.
During the battle rounds, we saw some amazing acts leave the show, like Ivy Paige.
Ivy Paige is a British Born singer, Chanteuse, and Burlesque star, in which Olly turned for her in the blind auditions. She gained a lot of support from fans within the ‘Murs Army’.
However, in the battle, Shane McCormack was the one who triumphed. Not only were they miffed with his decision to send home Ivy Paige and save Shane McCormack, many thought they shouldn’t have even been competing against each other.

With one fan stating on Twitter: “That’s right Olly, just put your “two best singers” up against each other #TheVoiceUK”
In other news related to the voice, a few online articles, have stated that Sir Tom Jones, has said that he and the Black Eyed Peas singer, WILL.I.AM are set to head into the studio for an unlikely collaboration.
The 2018 series of ‘The Voice UK’ will have the fewest live shows, that ‘The Voice UK’ has ever seen. This series of ‘The Voice UK’ will see only two live episodes compared to the previous five to six episodes in previous years. Which means that each coach will be picking two of their acts, for each team, to go into the finals.
The coaches will be alone in their decision of who goes through to the live shows, as the knockout stages this year, are pre-recorded.
The knockout stages will air from this Saturday night, at 8:30 PM where the first 12 singers will fight for their places in the live shows.
With the pressure building up, and the decisions becoming tougher, the coaches will have help during the knockouts, by some very special guests. Including Craig David, The Black Eyed Peas, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, and last years ‘The Voice Uk’ champion Mo Jamil.
