We’ve watched their first auditions, watched the brutal Six Chair Challenge, saw the contestants give their everything in the Judges’ Houses stage and now the final sixteen contestants have been chosen for the next stage of the show: the Live Shows. We thought we’d introduce you to them, next up we have Anthony Russell. Anthony is part of the boys’ category mentored by Louis Tomlinson.

Anthony’s X Factor journey is one that really shows his fighting spirit. Anthony auditioned for the show way back in 2007.
He then returned last year before leaving the show for personal reasons. This year he came back fighting. His story had both the audience at home and in the arena in tears, as he told how Louis Tomlinson ( pre him becoming a judge) had reached out after seeing him on the show and offered him the help and lifeline he so desperately needed. His emotional performance this year blew all the judges away.
He shone again at the six chair challenge, securing himself a place at his mentor Louis’s judge’s house in Ibiza. And then going on to bag a place in the live shows.
You can follow Anthony on his Twitter account @AntArtist89 and his Instagram.
Tune in to the X Factor this weekend to see how Anthony does in the live shows. Let us know @CelebMix if Anthony is your winner!
