Fan-favorite comedy-drama series, This Is Us has been renewed by NBC for two additional seasons, each having an installment of 18 episodes. The news was announced Wednesday at the Television Critics’ Association winter press tour presentation.
This Is Us has been a breakout hit for the network, ranking as the top new series of the season. In addition, it picked up three Golden Globes nods.
The show takes place in the 1980s and centers on the lives of Jack and Rebecca Pearson. The young couple are raising their three children, two being fraternal twins and one adopted after being brought to the hospital when abandoned by his biological father. However, the show jumps through time frames, leading us to the present day lives of the Pearson children– Kevin, Kate and Randall. As we go back and forth through the years, we try to fill in the missing pieces of the puzzle. The series stars Milo Ventimigila, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz and Justin Hartley.

On behalf of everyone at NBC, we’re grateful for the artistry of the cast, crew, and producers assembled by our gifted creator, Dan Fogelman.
