Three Most Underrated Songs from The Weeknd

The Weeknd has been celebrating a lot of success lately. 2015 was a huge year for the Canadian artist, and his latest album and it’s lead single “Can’t Feel My Face” has snapped up some Grammy nominations for the star, and he’s in with a good chance of winning them!

In July, The Weekend held down all of the top three songs in Billboard‘s Hot R&B Songs chart for a week with singles “Earned It” (From the movie Fifty Shades of Grey) at number 3, “The Hills” at number 2 and “Can’t Feel My Face” in at number 1, the first artist ever to earn that accolade!

His second studio album Beauty Behind The Madness was released on 28th August 2015 and immediately achieved success. But with so many good songs there was bound to be a few that went under the radar, so here are the three songs from The Weeknds album we love the most (excluding the singles!). It was a hard choice to make, but we think you’ll love them just as much as we do…

3. Losers (ft. Labirinth)

“So what can you show me
That my heart don’t know already?
Because we make our own sense
And you’re qualified to me”

2. Angel

“Cause all I see are wings,
I can see your wings
But I know what I am and the life I live,
yeah, the life I live
And even though I sin,
we are born to live
But I know time will tell if we’re meant for this, yeah if we’re meant for this”

1. Shameless

“I don’t wanna hurt you but you live for the pain
I’m not tryna say it but it’s what you became
You want me to fix you but it’s never enough”
