A very happy belated birthday wishes goes out to singer Fergie who turned 43 on the the 27th March. As it’s that day of the week that we like to reminisce, we thought it would be only right if we threw it back to one of the star’s biggest hits.
2006 was the year that Fergie made the jump from being frontwoman of The Black Eyed Peas, to becoming a solo star.
Released as her very first single, and lead single from The Dutchess, was the very racy ‘London Bridge.’ The song, to this day, is celebrated and recognised as a monumental song of the noughties for its infectious sound.
The video, filmed around London, plays well on the suggestive and playful nature of the song. It shows us all sides of the singer, from the glamorous to the tomboy, and was the perfect kick start to her solo career.
