Australian born comedian and musical virtuoso Tim Minchin has announced his first full length tour in what feels like forever. It has been confirmed that Tim will be going all around Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. in 2019.

Tim has brought fun, joy and laughter with his wacky songs and somewhat risqué humour to his millions of adoring fans over the years. He has delivered incredible music and tours throughout his career, such as his debut “So F**king Rock” & “Ready For This” and his outstanding, groundbreaking performance with the Hertiage orchestra in 2011.

During these we have seen Tim amaze many with his skills on the piano and his hysterical lyrics, but in the more recent years, he has brought his musical talent and lyrical genius to the London musical “Matilda”. Since October 2011 to the present day, he and Dennis Kelly have taken the magical and spectacular imagination of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s novel and brought it to the beautiful Cambridge Theatre in London. It has gone on to win many awards, including 7 Olivier awards and 6 Broadway World awards.

After Tim being away working on Matilda and having another musical, “Groundhog Day”, in the works, fans have wondered when they would ever see Tim perform his old and even new comedy stuff again. Luckily for them, after a long overdue wait, Tim has announced his tour “Back” which he will be touring in 2019. U.K. registrations for verified fans on Ticketmaster will be open to the public tomorrow (30th August) at 10:00 BST.

Tim’s announcement is here if you want to hear the incredible news for yourself!
