Released last week, this awesome, energetic, and passionate music video for “Little Buts” by Tom A. Smith, is sure to make you wish to see him live. The video has already racked up over 2.5k views on YouTube over the past week, whilst the official single has been performing well on streaming platforms since it was released in February. The single release follows up last year’s EP, titled “The Piano Sessions”.

Tom A. Smith is a teenage singer-songwriter and guitarist from Sunderland, UK. He has been laying out his music career for years, even starting at a young age by performing his first-ever gig at the age of eight, where he was the support act for local psychedelic rockers Detroit Social Club at the legendary Newcastle venue The Cluny. He went on to perform at Glastonbury before he was in secondary school, showcasing his drive to make it in the music industry. His early start in music laid the foundations for his rise with the last two years netting him more gigs where he was the support act for Courteeners, Miles Kane, Martha Hill, Vistas, Blondes, The Pale White, Eliza and The Bear, Gang of Youths, and Sunset Sons. On top of that, last year saw him support Elton John at his British Summer Time show in Hyde Park, as well as performances at Glastonbury, Barn On The Farm, and the F1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, and he even opened the Leeds Festival to an audience of over 6,000. His touring schedule is non-stop but he also finds time to write, record, and release singles and EPs, and he has also released covers on YouTube that has been shared by a variety of music icons. His tracks have received hundreds of thousands of Spotify streams and he continues to build his fanbase with everything that he is doing. Tom A. Smith not only belongs in the music industry but he deserves to be there as his hard work, determination, and his focused attitude totally make him someone we all should be watching. He is set to be a star, so be prepared to know his name as he continues to rise in the music world.

Written by Tom A. Smith, himself, whilst it has been produced by Larry Hibbitt, “Little Bits” is an addictive pop-rock song that leads with awesome guitar chords paired with a strong and passionate vocal. Full of emotional integrity and belief in every single word he is singing, Tom A. Smith brings it to this track, adding power in the chorus and showcasing the heart-felt energy within the lyrics, determined to spread positivity to everyone who listens to “Little Bits”.

Shot and directed by George Gray & Joey Bellas, with the former editing the visual, whilst it was produced by That Milk, the official music video to “Little Bits” sees Tom A. Smith performing on stage in two locations in Sunderland. The opening scene sees him pick up a guitar and start the track off acapella in front of an empty auditorium before the song truly kicks in and we watch an interpolated visual of him performing at both the empty venue and a packed indie venue. Bringing performance energy, like no other, Tom A. Smith shows he not only knows how to perform to a crowd but he can also bring it when no one else is around. Full of adrenaline from start to finish, the “Little Bits” music video makes every single viewer eager to see him perform live on-stage one day. The two venues showcased in this music video are The Fire Station and Independent Sunderland.

Talking about the music video, Tom A. Smith said: “I wanted to show what Sunderland had to offer so filming at two music venues The Fire Station and the local grassroots venue Independent was really important to me. I think we’ve captured a load of the energy of a live performance too.”
