Rising rock duo Tooth and Nail have had a fantastic 2017 so far with two hit single releases; ‘Cryin’ For You‘ and ‘Troubled Times‘, a UK tour, and numerous festival dates. And now the pair have released their third single of the year; ‘Ghost Train’.
‘Ghost Train’ takes a host of familiar elements and turns them into new shapes with a yearning, Motown soul and a grunge-rock chorus, mixed with a stomping blues breakdown.
Tooth and Nail’s new release comes after garnering major success with their first two singles, which have been played on over 180 radio stations across the UK and America, and they have also been featured on a number of Spotify Rock/Alt playlists, and their own official Spotify account is currently earning them an impressive 21,000 monthly listens.
The duo have also been featured by Alt Press, Gig Slutz, XS Noize, PunkTastic, along with more than 30 other press outlets/blogs over the past year.

Speaking about Tooth and Nail’s new single ‘Ghost Train‘, singer and guitarist Daniel Pearson says: “ ‘Ghost Train’ is about that point in a relationship where you’re torn between fighting for each other and moving on. A big influence on me are those heartbreaking old soul records and blues songs about love gone wrong, and everyone can relate to those feelings. As well as those emotions, we wanted to take the song somewhere unexpected sonically by bringing in some big riffs and time changes.”
