Top Five Lily Allen Music Videos

British singer/songwriter Lily Allen has filled our lives with satire, irony and the awful truth but that’s why we all love her. She’s just being honest! With that being said, check out our top FIVE Lily Allen music videos!

    1) Alfie

The music video accompaniment to ‘Alfie’ is sunny and sarcastically truthful. With a cartoonish theme following along, the song is about Lily Allen’s brother Alfie Allen and his lazy behavior. Now 29, we’re going to assume he’s matured far enough that his room isn’t so “soaky”.

    2) 22

A more mature side of Lily Allen, ’22’ showcases Lily Allen in a beautiful sleek tight black dress and various other women at a club. Just because you’re old doesn’t mean you are useless and Allen’s smart lyricism makes the music video much more inquisitive.

    3) The Fear

Probably Allen’s most decorative video filled with balloons, walking gifts and butlers. ‘The Fear’ is recognized as one of her signatures songs (the other being ‘Smile) but the electro-pop influence makes us love it even more. Plus, that mansion looks like the perfect stay. Away from the city and absolutely peaceful.

    4) LDN

Not everything is as it seems and this says it all. Walking around London in order to meet a friend (or perhaps lover since she seems a tad sad that they don’t end up showing up) the video displays a two way before and after panel showcasing how parts of London actually look like. Not all the scenery looks pretty and pink but again, its all just plain sincerity and sarcasm.

    5) F*** You

This song is about George W. Bush and it’s apparent Lily wasn’t or isn’t a fan of the man at all. Not like much of America was in the first place, but this anthem has also served as a slight gay anthem due to its direct lyric “you say its not okay to be gay, well I think you’re just evil”. Anyway, the music video sees Lily walking around the town elongating people with a single touch (even the landscapes). The video might be simplistic but its all the stretching and accompanying lyrics that make us giggle once in awhile.
