Although Finding Dory may be an animated film, many adults are counting down the days till they get to see the much-anticipated sequel to Finding Nemo. Wednesday, December 30, fans were given a few new characters.

Modern Family star Ty Burrell will be voicing the character of Bailey, a snub-nosed beluga whale, and Kaitlin Olsen, an actress well known for her role in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, will voice a whale shark named Destiny. Two new characters for Finding Dory announced 1

Burrell gives a look into the characters by explaining “my character isn’t great at his own sonar capability, and Destiny has trouble swimming straight.” Once Bailey and Destiny get along they will help Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) find her way back to her family.

“We totally get on each other’s nerves, I like to think I’m a shark, but Bailey calls me a whale, and I make fun of his head because it’s gigantic,” Olsen reveals some tension between the two characters.

Burrell also states, “There’s always a deeper message with Pixar, and so much of it [in Finding Dory] is that these characters are trying to find faith in themselves. They’re trying to overcome their insecurities in order to help somebody in need.”

Finding Dory will be in theaters to watch on June 17, 2016. Will you be diving in to see it? Let us know by commenting below or tweeting us @CelebMix
