One of Disney Channel’s most beloved original movies will come to life yet again in a follow-up film.
After years of talk, Freeform announced on Wednesday that Life-Size 2 is officially heading to production at Disney’s sister network as a holiday movie.
“In the sequel, everyone’s favorite doll Eve has grown up,” the channel shared in a press release. “This time, she’s magically awoken to help a young woman learn to live and love again. And along the way, Eve herself will experience the ups and downs of real life in a fun, edgy, modern Christmas movie.”
Star of Life-Size, Tyra Banks has signed onto the spin-off to once again portray Eve.
In the first television feature, Eve is brought to life by a young girl named Casey (Lindsay Lohan) who attempted to resurrect her mother with magic. There is currently no word if Lohan will appear in the sequel, in addition to who else has been casted alongside Banks.
The 43-year-old will serve as the film’s executive producer as well. She is currently gearing up for her return to host VH1’s America’s Next Top Model, also landing the same role on America’s Got Talent after Nick Cannon’s departure earlier this year.
Life-Size 2 is slated to air in December 2018, joining Freeform’s popular 25 Days of Christmas programming lineup.
