For fans of Vicky Pattison already, they knew that she would enter the jungle and claim her rightful throne as ‘Queen Vicky’. It’s a name fans have called her for years – even dedicating series 9 of Geordie Shore to ‘Queen V’ being in charge before her departure.

But now, Vicky Pattison is the winner of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here 2015 after last night beating finalists Ferne McCann and George Shelley to the crown. Whilst not everyone will be a fan of her – she’s done a very good job of changing the public’s perception of her ‘Geordie Shore‘ persona.

This, alongside Charlotte Crosby‘s win on Celebrity Big Brother 2013, is the second time a member of Geordie Shore has taken the crown after participating in a nationally watched prime time television show. Charlotte herself tweeted straight after they announced the Queen of the Jungle with a hashtag #TakingOver. Could we be seeing more Geordie Shore members branching out into the big wide world of television? Now all we need is a Celebrity Masterchef winner to complete the Geordie hatrick – Holly, Gaz – hows your cooking skills?

However – if rumours from The Mirror are true – we might not have to wait much longer to see another member of Geordie Shore on our screens as Scott Timlin (Scotty T) is apparently due to make an appearance in the Big Brother house.
Keep it coming Geordie Shore lot, whether you outright admit you love them or pretend they’re your guilty pleasure – you can’t deny that they’re definitely coming out on top at the moment.
