Fashion designer and singer Victoria Beckham announced on social media earlier today, she is creating a limited-edition make-up collection in partnership with Estée Lauder, launching later this year. Although she previously launched two nail polishes with Nails Inc, this is first time she has worked on a full make-up collection.
“The whole process has been both inspiring and eye-opening… this feels like the perfect make-up partnership for me and my brand”
Lauder has recently been working to expand its customer base to the younger generations. Recently they partnered with model and member of the Kardashian klan, Kendall Jenner, adding the “Kendall Jenner Shade” lipstick to their pure envy matte line, which is forever sold out. As well as Kendall, the likes of Eva Mendes and blogger Irene Kim helped launch the Sephora partnered, 82-stock-keeping-unit “Estée Edit” on the 15th March which is aimed at teenage customers.
Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder looks to be a collection that will please a wide range of customers, young and old. Estée Lauder said they chose Beckham not only because of her “passion for beauty” but also her “understanding of what women want, and a commitment to making women look and feel their most beautiful.”
Although we don’t know what the collection, launching September 2016, will look like, we presume it will include all the makeup kit essentials that will help us recreate natural (but dramatic) makeup looks. Expect plenty of nude hues, a killer mascara, and some jet-black eyeliner. We would LOVE a good contouring kit too. (Have you seen her cheekbones!?!)
We anticipate some seriously revolutionary makeup! Let us know what you’re hoping Victoria Beckham creates for her line? @CelebMix on Twitter.
