The National Television Awards (NTAs) 2018 launched their longlist of nominees, yesterday. The awards are all voted by the public at home and the ceremony is broadcasted on ITV. It will be hosted by Dermot O’Leary – who has hosted since 2010.
Before we get into the list of nominees, we’re delighted to find out that they’re honouring the late Sir Bruce Forsyth, this year. They have renamed their entertainment award after this legendary TV presenter.
Sir Bruce Forsyth passed away on 18 August 2017 at the age of 87, with many celebrities and fans saddened by the news. We expect that this award will be accompanied with a tribute video showcasing his amazing career and his achievements. The award’s new name is The Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award.
So, are you ready to decide to vote? The longlist sure looks exciting, with many great TV shows and talented people up for winning. Could we see some surprises in the shortlist this year?
