Ward Thomas are currently gearing up for the release of their eagerly anticipated third studio album ‘Restless Minds‘. The LP will be released on February 1st, 2019 and sees the twin sisters focusing on topics such as mental health, women’s rights, and social media.
These themes are evident in hit singles ‘Lie Like Me’, ‘I Believe In You’ and most recently ‘Never Know’. These tracks taken off the album focus on the dangers of social media, and also knowing your worth. It is an album for the Millennial generation and songs such as ‘It’s Not Just Me’, ‘This Too Will Pass’, and ‘No Filter’ will no doubt strike a chord with listeners all over the world.’
Along with releasing ‘Restless Minds’ next year, the record making British Country Music duo will also be embarking on their biggest tour to date performing in cities across the country including Cardiff, Bristol, London, Manchester and many more;
And now Ward Thomas have launched their Instazine. The new project will see Catherine and Lizzy launching a new look Doormat Sessions segment where they will perform covers and original tracks in a stripped back way. Today they shared their acoustic version of the anthemic ‘Never Know’ giving it a much more rootsy/country vibe.
Along with the updated Doormat Sessions, Ward Thomas will also be sharing YouTube videos where they will be talking to a variety of people from different industries to discuss what’s important to them. This section is titled Restless Voices and the debut episode sees the girls talking to their co-writers Jessica Sharman and Rebekah Powell about women in the music industry:
The Instazine will also include Catherine’s Corner, Lizzy Corner, and A Mindful Moment: They will be released every two weeks.
