Last night was definitely a massive night in music, with the iHeart Radio Music Awards, the American Country Music Awards, and last but not least, the Juno Awards all occurring!

Many of our favourite Canadian artists won big at the Juno Awards last night, showing that perhaps the great white north isn’t as cold as we thought it would be. Come on. Who doesn’t melt at Shawn Mendes’ voice?

It was a great night for The Weeknd in particular, bringing home five Juno Awards and delivering a flawless performance. He won Album of the Year and R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for Beauty Behind the Madness, Single of the Year and Songwriter of the Year for “Can’t Feel My Face”, and to top it all off, Artist of the Year. The Weeknd and Many More Win Juno Awards! 1

Looks like it wasn’t just a great night, but a VERY good year.

The Junos seemed to be a party that Alessia Cara enjoyed, having done an absolutely stellar performance as well as winning the award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Shawn Mendes and LIGHTS not only looked amazing on the Juno Awards red carpet, but also gave absolutely amazing performances. Missed the show? Watch their performances down below!

As per usual, Shawn got our tears running with an emotional performance of “Stitches”.

LIGHTS was joined by Sam Spensley to perform “Running With The Boys”, a song from her latest album Little Machines.

Justin Bieber was another winner at the Junos, winning not only the Fan Choice award but also the award for Pop Album of the Year. However, Justin was in Los Angeles for the iHeart Radio Music Awards in Los Angeles and sent in an acceptance video instead.
