Gambling is an art that’s enjoyed by a lot of people. You’ll find all kinds of people in casinos having fun or trying to win big. Celebrities too enjoy playing at the casino, whether it’s for some ‘me time’ or for the thrill of winning big.

Here are 5 top celebrities who gamble when they get the chance!

    Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton is a reality TV star, model, and socialite. She is a regular at the casinos and has released her line of slot machines. While Hilton doesn’t reveal how much she gambles, she prefers table games such as blackjack and roulette.

The heiress has participated in different games, including poker and blackjack. Paris once won $30,000 in just one night of gambling, the TV star.

Paris Hilton loves gambling a lot, and she once claimed to play more games than she sleeps!

    Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson, a Canadian-American actress, likes to gamble when she gets the chance. She particularly enjoys playing roulette, slots, and baccarat. The actress places bets on sports matches too! She once placed a $5 bet on a hockey match that won her $50,000.

    Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck is one of the most famous Hollywood stars who’s made it on the screen for a long time. Aside from his acting career, Affleck is known for his love for gambling.

A high-roller, Affleck enjoys playing blackjack and poker at casinos.

The star was banned from the Hard Rock in Vegas for counting cards. Nevertheless, Affleck can still enjoy gambling through online casinos, which allows all players to enjoy gambling with fewer limitations.

Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel Live, Affleck admits the card counting incident was a serious offense.

Affleck also belongs to a group of celebrity blackjack players.

    Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods is arguably the most celebrated golfer. He is also an avid gambler who has been caught gambling many times at the casinos. There are rumors and speculations that he has gambled away quite a lot of his money at casinos.

Tiger says he likes gambling on everything from sports to casino games like poker and blackjack. When Woods won the PGA Championship in 2006, he bet $250,000 on himself to win the tournament.

The golfer claimed to have lost $1.5 million on golf bets in one weekend.

    Michael Phelps

Michael is a former American competitive swimmer. With 28 medals, mostly from the Olympics, he is one of the most successful swimmers. He loved poker gambling so much that he could lose millions of dollars in a single night. According to Michael, he enjoys playing poker as a hobby rather than for the competitive nature of the game. He started playing poker at online casinos in Canada, where he staked a few dollars, and then progressed to higher stakes.

    Michael Jordan

Sports celebrities understand the importance of continuing to practice and improve their skill set. They also recognize that no matter how hard they exercise, there is always an element of luck in every achievement. This volatile blend may be what draws many sports celebrities to casinos.

Basketball legend Michael Jordan is one the most susceptible to gambling of all the celebrities.

Besides casino gambling, he usually bets on the outcome of different games. He bets money on various aspects when he hits the golf course (which he frequently does because it’s his second favorite sport after basketball). According to fellow athlete Charles Barkley, Jordan once even bet on himself.

    50 Cent

Known for his hit singles “Candy Shop” and “In da Club,” Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent) is an avid gambler. The rapper is known to play poker, blackjack, and craps. 50 Cent considers himself a professional blackjack player.

50 Cents claims he can make $18 million in a year by gambling. However, it seems outrageous; if others do, why not him.

In 2007, 50 Cent took part in the World Series of Poker Charity Event as a celebrity participant.

    Tobey Maguire

Maguire starred in the films Spiderman and Seabiscuit. However, since he was a teen, he has devoted a substantial amount of time to poker games. He also takes part in several Hollywood private games, where Molly’s Game’s concept for the book and film was born.

He lost a substantial amount of money to his friend Ben Affleck back in 2004, but that hasn’t stopped him from playing poker.

There has never been a shortage of celebrities who love gambling. Like most of us, you can spot them participating in different types of entertainment and games that casinos offer.

This article highlights a few of them who love gambling. If you are a fan of the art, remember to do it responsibly.
