If we could, we’d have all of The Vamps for our Valentine this year, but Connor Ball is definitely becoming a strong contender for our number one spot. His refreshing music taste, animal love, and sensitive soul make us want to be not only his best friend – but his valentine too.
5. He can laugh at himself
It’s one thing to laugh at other people (not cool guys!) but to be able to laugh at yourself when things go wrong for you is a true talent to have. Connor’s most famous example of this is THAT fall during their show with Taylor Swift, you can watch here if you have no clue what we’re on about. Despite him seeing his life flash before his eye,s as time has passed it’s become a bit of a joke within the fanbase. Especially as he fell to the lyric ‘save me here, cos I can barely stand’…. Connor, we truly do feel for you but it’s helped remind us that everyone has their off days!
4. He has great music taste
Connor has openly shown his love for bands such as Sum 41, You Me At Six, All Time Low, we love the rockier side to this loveable Scotsman. If we had Connor as our valentine we’d spend the night before making a playlist of bands to sing the night away to. Remember Connor’s incredible In Too Deep cover on the 2015 tour? Honestly, it was one of our absolute favourite moments as the happiness shown when smashing one of the best songs in music history. We’ve been looking for a king to sit on the rock throne with us, fancy it?
3. He shows his emotions
A man who shows emotions is something every girl wants lets be honest. We don’t like to seem like the overly emotional one in our relationship and Connor can help us out here. We’re never going to forget the reaction he had when finding out he was the final puzzle piece of The Vamps. The happiness he showed still makes us melt inside, it’s clear just how much it meant to him and we love it.
2. He’s photogenic
Before you even continue reading, go and look on Instagram. You’re going to be met by the most jaw-dropping perfect photos. Like seriously, we get some people are just blessed with the ability to not look like a foot when caught off guard but Connor takes it to the next level. We mean he can even pull a funny face and look good, not exactly fair now is it? Connor would be the perfect valentine to help you up your Instagram game…
1. He really loves animals
Just like most of The Vamps, Connor has a love for animals. Especially his bearded dragon/best friend Rex! Connor isn’t following the crowd with a boring pet like a cat or dog (he’s allergic to them but shh) and wins the award for a unique pet within the band. Regularly tweeting about how excited he is to be reunited when back from touring makes us hearts melt. Imagine having Connor as your valentine and being THAT excited to see you, dream come true.
